GAGS (Guildford Area Gay Society)

“First time at Scrumptious last Wednesday. My friend and I got there at 6.45pm, but I was disappointed to find out it wasn't open. So we went to Wetherspoons! At about 10pm we went back to Scrumptious, and thankfully it was open! Sadly it was very dead - Only 2 lesbians and the barman! (Apparently it gets busier over the weekend, but seeing as I haven't been at the weekend yet I can't comment!). The barman didn't seem at all bothered about the job he was doing - He overcharged us on the drinks (He was very kind to give us the money back though). There was no atmosphere, but I was glad there was a jukebox - Lots of Steps!! ”

A long running regular event. this is a popular event attended by a large number of regular attendees. The opening hours on Friday are 8.30 to 12.00.
Admission is £10. You do need to bring a bottle although once inside all drinks are free. The emphasis is on relaxation, with background music. On the last Saturday of every month there is a theme night, opening hours 9.30pm - 2.30am.
